Cookie policy
This policy explains cookies and similar storage on BenzinMazot, and how Google Consent Mode v2 preferences work. It is written for Google Analytics and Google AdSense readiness. Ad code may not be present yet; the consent layer and disclosure still apply.
Essential / functional
- bm-theme (localStorage) — light/dark theme.
- bm-consent (localStorage) — accept/reject choice from the banner.
You can read pages without them; preferences will not persist and the banner may return.
Measurement (Google Analytics)
If you accept, Consent Mode v2 may grant analytics_storage and Analytics cookies (e.g. _ga, _gid). If you reject, analytics_storage stays denied.
Advertising (Google AdSense — readiness)
If you accept, future ads may use ad_storage and related ad cookies. If you reject, ad_storage stays denied and personalisation is limited.
Consent Mode v2 and the banner
The banner offers Accept, Reject and Settings (policy link). Choice is stored in bm-consent. Measurement and ad storage default to denied until you opt in.
